All original, shifts rolls great. Unrestored just 1 quick wash. Small scratches and extremely light rust. If you want to restore a bike but dont want to work that hard, and use it as the commuter work horse as it was designed for, this is your bike. Metal is bright with no apparent pitting only surface dots. Tires appear good with no signs of rot. Brooks seat is popped at the seam in back and missing one stud on the logo. Brake lever was a little loose and brake pads appear original, which probably is not the best for a daily rider, so investment would be pads. I wouldn’t change much more than adjust, lube, and grease. If I were clever I restore gold pinstripe and touch up the black paint. But riding is my preference. And this one is built for riding.
