Up for sale is this extra spool for a Ross Gunnison #3 fly reel. The spool fits post-1998 G-3 reels, and also the 2014 Limited Edition G-3. A post-98 spool will not be functional in a pre-98 or pre-94 Gunnison reel, so please be sure you have the right model. The reel frame must have 26 holes, not 6. Naturally, the spool is not compatible with the most recent Gunnison models that use press fit spools. The platinum spool is in excellent, virtually new condition. It is set for left hand retrieve (buyer reversible, with instructions included), and lined with some backing. Spool comes with a Ross pouch that I removed a "5" decal from.
