Vintage J. deBeer & Son “Double Header” Official Clincher 16-inch softball, Model No. F16-16In, made in Haiti. Features the classic “Steam Welded” Kapok filling with “Elastic Shell” Winding construction — the same build that made deBeer the gold standard for Chicago-style no-glove 16” softball. Ball appears to be in unplayed condition with clean leather, tight original Clincher stitching, and all markings crisp. Comes in original red box with original tissue paper wrapping still present. A Sportmart price tag (Our Price: $6.44) remains on the box, dating this to approximately the 1970s–1980s. Box has age wear — torn/crushed top corners and edge scuffing — but is structurally intact. A genuine piece of softball history. Ships carefully packed.
